Web Design Agency for Website RFPs in Los Angeles
Heroic is a web design and development agency in Los Angeles that responds to RFPs, RFQs, and invitations to bid. We bid on website redesigns and rebuilds, digital exhibitions, apps, and campaign sites for museums, nonprofits and foundations, entertainment studios, and brands. Send the RFP and any background documents to hello@heroic.agency.
We read the whole document before we answer. When the project is a fit, you get a written proposal priced against the scope you defined. When it is outside what we do well, we tell you. Our work spans fine arts, nonprofits, entertainment, brands, and partner agencies.
What a Heroic Proposal Includes
Scope and Exclusions
What is included, what would cost extra, and what is out of scope, each listed separately so the price maps to the work.
Pricing You Can Compare
A cost breakdown by service area with a total and a payment schedule. We price fixed, not-to-exceed, or on retainer, whichever the RFP asks for.
Schedule and Review Points
Phases, milestones, and the dates your team reviews the work, set against your launch date.
What We Bid On
Website Redesigns and Rebuilds
New builds, full redesigns, and platform migrations. We build on Craft CMS most often and also work in WordPress, including securing, repairing, and maintaining existing installs.
Museum and Exhibition Sites
Digital exhibitions, collection sites, and mobile companions. We built Reinventing the Américas for the Getty Research Institute in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and Mapplethorpe.la for the Getty and LACMA.
Nonprofit and Foundation Sites
Mission, program, and donation sites with newsletter and donor system integrations. We built the InMaat Foundation and Stolte Family Foundation websites and still support both.
Entertainment Campaign Sites
Campaign and FYC sites for the major entertainment studios, built to release dates and under embargo.
Accessibility and Security
WCAG 2.1 AA as the baseline, checked by hand and with automated tools. Security hardening, backups with a tested restore, and a written recovery plan.
Support After Launch
Documentation, staff training, and maintenance on retainer or by the hour. The site can be run by your staff, by us, or by another contractor.
