FORM:

Nonprofit Design and Marketing Agency

Heroic is a nonprofit web design and branding agency in Los Angeles. We work with nonprofits, charities, and 501(c)(3) foundations that need development, design, and marketing without staffing it internally. Websites, logos, social media, video, and ongoing production. Donors decide whether to trust a nonprofit before they decide whether to give, and the website, brand, and social presence are where that impression forms. For the InMaat Foundation, which backs documentaries and human rights advocacy, we designed the logo and built the website, we run the social channels and manage the newsletter, and we have stayed on as the foundation grows. We have also worked with the Stolte Family Foundation, among other mission-driven organizations. We scope to what your budget supports and deliver to the same standard we bring to work across partner agencies, entertainment, brands, fine arts, and blockchain.

Development and Design Services

Engineering

Websites, donor portals, web apps, and custom integrations. We build to your technical requirements, document everything, and hand it off cleanly.

Design

Brand systems, campaign visuals, UI/UX, digital and print publications, and motion. Built to communicate mission clearly and hold up across every channel.

Full-Stack

We handle engineering and design together from the start so the work stays coherent and you do not have to manage two vendors.

What We Build for Nonprofits

Websites

New builds and full redesigns, designed to communicate mission, support fundraising, and convert visitors into donors and volunteers. Mobile-first, accessible, and built to WCAG standards. We built the InMaat Foundation's and Stolte Family Foundation's websites to this standard.

Logo and Brand Identity

Logos, color systems, typography, and brand guidelines. New identities and full rebrands for organizations that have outgrown their current look.

Social Media

Content creation, community management, email marketing, and paid campaigns. Built around your cause, your audience, and your publishing calendar.

Video

Mission videos, donor outreach content, campaign videos, and event coverage. Built for the platforms your audience is on.

Events and Activations

Fundraising galas, awareness campaigns, and hybrid digital and in-person experiences. From concept through production and digital promotion.

Annual Reports and Retainer Work

Print-ready and digital annual reports, campaign microsites, donor portals, and monthly production on retainer. For organizations that want the same production team on hand year after year.

Frequently Asked Questions About Nonprofit Design and Marketing

It depends on scope. Number of pages, integrations, and design complexity all factor in. We tell you what the work costs after one conversation, and we scope to what your budget supports.

At minimum: a homepage that clearly communicates your mission, an about section, a programs or services page, a donation page, and contact information. Depending on your organization you may also need event pages, volunteer sign-up, a blog, and email capture. We scope based on what your audience actually needs.

Yes. We work with nonprofits, charities, and private foundations of all sizes. For the InMaat Foundation we handle brand, web, social media, and email outreach on an ongoing basis. We have also worked with the Stolte Family Foundation, and we build and maintain sites for 501(c)(3) organizations across the country.

Yes. If your site is outdated, hard to update, or no longer reflects your organization, we handle full redesigns. We audit what you have and build from there.

We price based on scope and timeline, not sector. What we do offer is honest scoping. We will tell you what the work costs and scope to what your budget can support.

Yes. We design and develop donation flows, recurring giving pages, and donor portals integrated with the tools your organization already uses.

Clear mission above the fold, simple navigation, a strong call to action for donations or volunteer sign-ups, mobile responsiveness, fast load times, and WCAG accessibility compliance. We build all of this as standard practice.

Yes. We are familiar with deliverable-based grant scopes and can work within defined timelines and documentation requirements.

Yes. Logos and full brand systems, from initial concepts through final guidelines covering typography, color, and usage across every channel.

Yes. Print-ready and web-based annual reports that communicate impact to donors, board members, and stakeholders.

Yes. If your organization has outgrown its current identity or needs to better reflect its mission, we handle full brand audits and identity redesigns.

We are based in Los Angeles and work with nonprofits locally and nationally. Most collaboration happens remotely but we are available for in-person meetings when needed.

Between 6 and 12 weeks depending on scope, content readiness, and revisions. After one call we can tell you where your project lands in that range.

Yes. We build to WCAG 2.1 AA standards, the international benchmark for web accessibility. Nonprofits need this because your audience is broader than a typical brand, and an inaccessible site locks out the people you exist to serve. We build it in from the start rather than patching it after the fact.

Yes. If you have a brand guide, we work from it. If you do not, we can build one as part of the project.

We also work with partner agencies, entertainment, brands, fine arts, and blockchain. Each of those pages covers the details.
